Things
to do in Abergavenny...
Walking:
There are routes for walkers of all abilities through the
mountains, vales, rivers, canals, and castles. For a challenge,
take a walk in the mountains of the Brecon Beacons or attempt
a long distance walk such as the Offa's Dyke Path - a route
that goes all the way to the North Wales coast. For something
a little more leisurely, take a stroll through the Castles and
Meadows by the River Usk.
Cycling:
Hire one of our Mountain Bikes and explore the region by
pedal power. There are plenty of cycle routes to follow, including
the Three Castles trail (19miles) and the Welsh National Cycle
Route (no.42).
